Based in Cromwell, the hub of Central Otago, we will utilize the four-wheel drive tracks that will open up a whole new world of photographic opportunities to you. Access of these tracks is limited to this season only and not many photographers get to experience these area. These include:
- Old Man Range
- Lake Onslow
- Nevis Valley
- others to be advised

What better classroom than the wide open vistas that these regions offer - no sitting in stuffy rooms! No matter your level of photographic ability or experience, you will come away with stunning, yet unqiue, images.

This workshop covers all aspects of landscape photography from composition to dealing with unfavourable light.
This boutique workshop is limited to only six photographers spread over two trucks for your comfort.

Included in the price per person are the following:

From Christchurch we will travel via the McKenzie Country and over the Lindis Pass, stopping when photographs become apparent.
These workshops see us based in beautiful Cromwell only a skip and a hop from the tracks we will be exploring:
- Nevis Valley via Arrowtown and Garston
- Thomson's Gorge Track
- Paradise and beyond
- others to be advised

​These areas are full of stunning colours in autumn and lovely lighting conditions at this time of the year.
Come and be inspired by what the first gold miners of the region discovered. Our classroom is the great outdoors and is aimed at all levels of photographic experience.
Photographic groups are limited to six photographers.

Based in the winter wonderland that is Wedderburn, come and explore, photograph and be inspired by the beautiful Maniototo area of Central Otago. Join a small group of like minded photographers as we travel around discovering amazing vistas exposed by the soft light this region is famous for.
These workshops cover all aspects of landscape photography from composition to dealing with unfavourable light. Should we encounter adverse conditions that prevent us from getting into the field we will cover post-processing techniques designed to enhance your images.
Please note: This workshop is predominately designed to make the most of the lighting conditions likely encountered in this region at this time of the year - hence, photographic capturing takes preference over processing of images.
We will stay at the comfortable and warm Wedderburn Cottages and have evening meals at local historic taverns.

Photoshop - Basics for Photography
Based in Wedderburn, Maniototo, we will demystify the power that is Adobe Photoshop.
Starting slow, we will set up the workspace in the most efficient way, master masking, learn about layering, adjust our thinking about adjustment layers! We will run ourselves ragged by exploring Adobe Camera Raw, and jump through hoops discovering how we can use Blending Modes.
Filled with loads of tricks and tips you will come away with a comprehensive understanding of Photoshop and how to harness the power you have unleashed! You too can produce images such as those displayed on our Fine Art Photography page.
